Intoduction
Sparsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL), is a D Class licensed Microfinance Institution from Nepal Rastra Bank, Promoted by Janata Bank Nepal Ltd, Mega Bank Nepal Ltd and various reputed Businessman/Social worker/Professor etc.
It is D Class licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, having 10 mountainous districts as working area. It is Registered as a Public limited company in 2073/11/04, SLBSL has started its microfinance operation from 2074/03/29 after getting the license from Nepal Rastra Bank to operate as a “D” class financial institution as per Bank and Financial Institution Act 2003.
Incorporation
Sparsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) is incorporated as a limited company under company Act 2063 and licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank as “D” class financial institution having 10 mountainous districts to operate under Bank and financial institution Act 2003.
Goals & Objectives
Goals:
- Will be serving at least 1 million people with 100000 active members within 5 year. Will be also working as bridge & initiator of development in these districts
- Will be developing & promoting few famous tourism destinations cultures & event 5 years down the line
- Will be helping to construct the community projects including micro-hydro & other infrastructure
- Will be helping to be easy excess on remittance & Life Insurance
Objectives:
To empowering rural people for attaining self-sustaining socio-economic uplift through a package of policy research, action research, and training.
Its specific objectives are to:
- participation for women and underprivileged section of the societies
- Provide micro-finance services in rural area
- Social mobilization to sensitize and capacitate communities through community organizations
- Act as an intermediary between development programs of government, NGOs, bilateral and multilateral projects and local.
- Enhance the capabilities of Community based organizations by organizing appropriate training and involving them as partners in development intervention process
- Organizing different skills training programs for disseminating improved technology in tourism, agriculture, livestock and off-farm activities
- Provide support services to local institutions for the development of agriculture, irrigation, drinking water, cottage and rural industries, forestry, and alternative energy and encourage them to undertake feasible and appropriate enterprises
- Promote equal access to opportunities, resources, ownership
